Heard this is movie is a remake of the Korean hit I Saw The Devil.

In the trailer it was Ritesh that surprised me. I never saw him do a role like this before. He was brilliant.

For Sid's sake I hope he gets positive reviews for his acting because it has been unimpressive to date.

i just hope it does well...it can be a hit but will face stiff competition from Humshakals and Transformers...so I am just too scared...gosh just so excited and nervous all at the same time ...I just hope whatever TM said comes true

I completely agree with your prediction as always.

However, I have a feeling that it will near 100 Crores, if not reach it. Because from what I have seen, pretty much everyone is excited for the movie because it looks so different from standard Bollywood nonsense. Also, Sid-Shraddha are a fresh pair, Ritesh's role, great music- my prediction is 10-12 crore in the opening day, 75-90 lifetime.

But yes, this film is more expensive than Aashiqui 2, so whereas Aashiqui 2 reached Blockbuster status when it got to the 70+ crore mark, this will be a bit lower verdict-wise (Super Hit).

According to Wikipedia (I know it's not really reliable 😆) the budget of Ek Villain is 25 crores.
