I've some friends who like ranveer n are his fans 😛

@Poppy, that's my point. My question should have been more on the lines of- does Ranveer have any fans in real life? Because TBH, I haven't met any. None of my friends like him or talk about him, unlike Ranbir who is pretty popular in my family too.

Since I defend Ranbir, so I will call myself a fan:/

😆 Because none of you care about Katrina or whoever he hooks up with. People who claim are neutral Ranbir fans, I keep seeing them pop up at random Katrina threads to defend her.

I dunno how you can like a celeb just because they are associated with your favorite actor / actress 😆 Am equally indifferent to both Kat & DP.. I'l die if he hooks up with Alia after this 😳 😆

I am the only one gushing enthusiastically about him whenever he is on-screen, while others are like, 'what do you even see in him?' (One of the reasons I keep popping to IF, the only place where I find like minded Ranveer fans!)

Ranbir on the other hand has my family, my best friends, my nieces, my neighbour and practically everyone I know cooing over what a well-bred, genteel looking, super talented lad he is and how lucky Katrina or any other woman will be to land a gem like him!🤔😆

@Rog, if I have to send anyone to IF, my mom should be the first! She LOVES Ranbir. Like legitimately love him, as if he were her own son!😆 I tried to tell her about his cheating ways, but she would have nothing of it! She really thinks that he is just as innocent and pure as his face suggests (he does look innocent, have to concede that!) and anyone saying otherwise is a dork! There you have it!😆

But honestly, all the people I know are big fans of Ranbir and I have not met one single Ranveer fan! Its a bit deflating you know! Liking an actor, whom no one else seems to like as much or even a bit as you do!😕 My theory is that most people get turned off by his OTT attitude that is in display during much of his public apperances...and since they have a life and don't get into detailed dissections of Ranveer's interview's ect., like the way we do, they form their opinion based on what they see.

And lets face it...Ranveer is the type of guy, whom if you don't know well (applying only to certain sections of BF members) would appear to be a crazy person, to put it politely...someone who is a show-off, loud, obnoxious, OTT ect! And that is not something that Indian's in general appreciate or even tolerate in anyone, least of all a public figure / celeb!

Hence, the popularity of Ranbir, who cuts across demographics and appeals to everyone...to the grown-ups, with his blue-blooded background and well-bred mannerisms, to the young with his youthful good looks and way with the ladies, to the classes with his obvious talent and excellent script-sense and to the masses with his dancing skills and obvious star appeal!

Well, whatever...after all this rambling, fact is that I have spent enough time on BF to know the type of guy Ranveer is (I think!) and I really like him! But ask me to convince someone from outside IF and that is not happening soon!😕😆

Wow..But then i do know one Ranveer fan in real life..My mom 😆 She loves that guy..Normally she is indifferent to most of the actors but started liking Ranveer post Lootera..And she fell head over heels after watching him perform on Assalame Ishqum yaara in every other reality show 😆 She hearts his off screen personality and finds it weird that i like Ranbir..I made her watch Barfi, YJHD & WUS, still she is stuck on Ranveer 😆

Honestly the forum does mess with your mind..I wld have liked Ranbir infinite times more than i actually do if i din read all those blinds & articles on him..Oh and the Bollywood Gossip thread..That played a huge role in making me hate Bollywood as a whole..I don like any actor offscreen at this point thanks to that thread 😆 Ignorance is bliss in these cases tbh 😆
