Should end up above Chennai Express and 50/50 chance of scoring over Happy New Year

Dhoom 3 is unlikely

Neither do the holidays fall on the right days nor does it enjoy the multiple free weeks a christmas release does

Only P.K. has a chance to beat Dhoom 3 IMO

It's got Sooraj-Salman tag riding on it 👍🏼 I just have to mention that to my relatives and they were all excited for it. 😆 I'm hoping for chartbuster music on that one too.

Dhoom 3 was extraordinary business and yes actress helped but dhhom was a brand to begin with and would have been200 even without katrina tbh..and dhoom 3 director was tashan director who gave adisaster but ths movie became highest grossing ..point you cant say wht will work..

But i see movies that when my gut sees they entertaining etc..work!! Plus here the action directors andtechs associated some with holly etc are good, the person who did background score was same as ETT!!

Plus in case kick does 200 plus no big deal

Pk might do 300 as aamir is the last to come and with raju hirani

I expected CE to do 200cr+ coz it was Rohit Shetty film, Khan name, SRK-Deepika pairing after OSO (which was a huge hit), mix of South and North Culture and it had Lungi Dance. 😃
I'm gonna hang tight for music but thankfully people are loving the dialogues... it's all over twitter... and yeah 250cr+ sounds awesome 😃

Jackie is at least known..but a good trailer does create interest and that eid is a occassion that people like to see movies!!

Dabaang WAS ChulBul Pandey. I happened to dislike the movie and character but the critics swooned over it if I remember. I have not seen great reviews like that for a masala or a Salman film. That could have brought in a curious non-Salman audience. Sonakshi and Deepika have famous fathers. While her brother Luv failed in his debut because I think the film was rather boring, Sonakshi made a huge impression in the trailer and so did Deepika. If people who usually do not go in for a Salman or SRK flick and were fans of their fathers were curious about them, that could have brought extra traffic too. If Glam is the only recommendation for a heroine, will not work with many people.
