I used to b mad about hip hip hurray n just mohabbat...Wednesday n Fridays...my god...

n alif laila was in think in 93...I was a 6 years old...n was mad abt that...

I have watched almost all of them baring 3 to 4...

madhavan was there in a serial suhaana safar or something

Doordarshan till mid 90s had awesome shows.

I also miss game shows on Zee TV - Film Deewane, Saanp Seedi, Ek minute, Pictionary. They were games for real. Not like stupid celeb ridden crap of today.

True TV was for whole family then. Channels offered solid variety. Unlike saas bahu TV or crime TV of today.

Glad that there were no 24 hour news channels. 30 minutes thrice a day and 1 hour weekend. No shouting anchors from rooftops and no sensationalism.😆

@bold-u just brought back the old memories!! there was one more dubbed show called different strokes which was also very nice 😃😆

All are beautiful , another one swabhimaan , even mogli . Way better than these tu tu main main kind serials .The uniqueness of all those is we love those character, acting , theme etc. When these droll over TV star started all those character died.

I have vague memories of Rajni. Another super strong female oriented show. Wagle ki duniya, Filmi chakkar, Dastaan, Parivartan, Junoon, Kora Kaagaz, Daraar, Basera, Pal Chhin. That show about devil clown Woh made me forever scared of clowns.

DD had pretty good line up. Swabhimaan, Sukh dukh, Aparajhita, Yug, Aurat...some shows I recall in noon slot. There was one with only kids, 4 kids and their adventures in their locality...so real. I always forget its name though I remember its title tune.

Madhavan's name reminds me of Sea Hawks and Ghar jamai. He was likeable and talented from day one.😊

Boogie Woogie is originally 90s!
