being a bit too harsh arent we.

these hard working telly stars deserve much more than these star kids who have it easy. its strange how random star kids r easily accepted and telly stars r bashed. they r equally talented and as good looking. ok yah prachi cant act but still.

Y? A lot of Tv actors are 100 times better than the so called Bollywood stars in terms of acting.
SRK vidya balan sushant rajeev already proved that.
Its like TV medium is some degrading thing and dats y they are not fit for the so called High class BW.
One of the greatest actors of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachan is making his TV debut in a fiction show.

Karan Patel is avery good actor, better than so called Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan...just watch his show and you understand why he is comapared to SRK...

thanks for all the comments. some great comments there. thank god deja vu asked me to chill out, cos if i haven't , i would have been killed in my own topic. so thank you deju vu, mujhe calm down karne ke liye --much needed😳

i never watched srk's tv show. i always thought he was a stage performer. just checked it out in fauj, and he didnt' disappoint me.😆 and WE ALL know that srk has this midas touch, he turns almost everthing to gold-even ra1.

i guess it is no harm to try to cash in bollywood if you happen to be big star on small screen. why not. but i wanna know, does bollywood do justice to these big tv stars. if i am not wrong, prachi used to be darling of small screen with ram kapoor, but in bollywood?

also i wanna see fresh faces in movies rather than tv stars. daily you see them on tv - mon to sat, kaafi hai. i don't wanna see my fav tv star doing special item numbers or 10 min roles. 😆

can be debatable...

I don't know who this Prachi Desai is, I have actually no clue about serials except IPKKND which I stumbled on YT. But looking at Sushant, hell even Ayushmann I would take them over any unproven starkid. They are not that great to look at and don't have much charisma, but acting wise they hit it out of the ball park more than most of the starkids, so I'd rather pay money and see them than someone who is here because their daddy or mommy was talented. because acting is ultimately about shockingly *ACTING* not body building or dancing which most starkids are into, not acting.

As for Sobti, I don't know what he is capable of or even if he is versatile, but he looks good enough to me and he highly impressed me in a three minute clip that I stumbled upon in YT that I bing watched the whole damn thing. I will absolutely be willing to take a chance on him and give him a career over any starkid whose parent I like. As for Sanaya, if she ever thinks of a BW career, I will blindly buy a ticket because she impressed me.

BW is insular and there are few ways outsiders can come in. One way is through TV, so I'd rather have a proven TV star than an unproven starkid.

good actors ( and/or personality that will click with the audience ) can be found anywhere tv, stage/theatre, cinema... so don't agree with the generalization and as mentioned srk, vidya both started their career with tv and then got into bw.

I don't see anything wrong in tv actors trying for bw, why not :))
