terrific topic.
rishi caught my attention when i used to check out big b's movies. i seriously think rishi and amit were one hell of a jodi. i asked my mum to show me all movies of rishi. and boy, i absolutely loved his bobby, saagar, hkskn, kabhi kabhi, doosra aadmi ( oh my l loved this movie), KARZ (one of the best movies of his imo), bade dil wala, yeh wada raha (him and tina munim-awesome), all his movies with lambu ji. his early on movies like khel khel mein and rafoo chakkar--top! his pairing with neetu...jawab nahi.
i am not at all surprised at his beta's talent/skills, genetic kaho.
now anil kapoor. he was considered one to topple big b. nah...beat big b...nahi. no one can 😆still, he was a force to reckon with durin his prime. lakhan he was to all. you name it he got it. tezaab, ram lakhan, mashaal, yudh, PARINDA (how awesome is this movie) beta, lamhe, mr india, kishen kanhaiya...him & mads, and with sri, were a dream pairs. most of their movies were instant hits.
3 movies of his are on my all time favs:
1. woh saat din -it left me speechless. anils finest performance ever.
2. chameli ki shaadi- anils 2nd best performance. i almost wet my pants watching this movie. i had to keep my legs crossed. it is so so hilarious - and damn saifu's ex amrit singh - and om prakash.-lol top!
3. saheb -another brilliant, heartwarming performance from anil. here is a small movie, simple movie, yet the impact is big. if anyone hasn't seen this movie, pls immediately check this one out. there is a character artist called uptal dutta...damn..one of the finest artist of indian cinema. this guy has so much humor..unbelievable.
i am not going to pick one, cos in my book both are terrific performances and have given contributed bollywood big by givin some very good movies/performances.
