I don't think anyone can beat the hysteria that surrounded Hrithik. He was the full pacakage. His debut coincided with Abhishek who was simply awful, and the total opposite to Hrithik. I think Hrithik ticked all the boxes Abhishek didn't and people went craazy over him.

Off point: He is a damn good actor. How can people say he can't act and hams?! Koi Mil Gaya, Lakshya, JA, Guzaarish anyone?

This is just abt debut.. Kumar Gaurav, Ajay devgan had successful debutes. Aamir n Salman not considered coz they had a film b4 that... debute.

As far as DEBUT is concerned.. Probably in history of BW, nothing can match HR and his KNPH and following Hrithik Mania. Despite being well- known BW figure like Rakesh Sr' son.. there was no buzz.. He just came from nowhere.. and took the nation by storm. I dont wanna post articles of HR mania .. but herez few things i rem.

Sridevi's daughter will see plane and tell her.. "Lithik will come, pick me and take to NZ"

Srk.. "never been insecured in my career but Hrithik mania and my Asoka flopped, i was scared"

Saif" if i even get 50 % of stardom that Hrithik got after his film, i will pay huge amount"

HR rcvd so many rakhis, gifts, and of course marriage proposals... in 10s of 1000s.. it was madness.

so, NO, NO1 WILL BE CREATE SUCH MADNESS AFTER HIS DEBUT.. IF SOME1 DOES.. I WILL TAKE MY WORDS BACK.

And for those who thinks, Hr cant act or hams.. plz keep watching ur fav. stars' movies. 😊
