Arjun kapoor and Nepotism!!!! - Page 2

I agree! He is so BORING on screen! 🥱 I liked him in Ishaqzaade though and that's mainly due to the chemistry between him and Pari. Nothing to do with his acting skills! 😆

I don't think that Arjun is a bad actor...I have only watched Gunday and 2 States and he was pretty good in them...and nepotism ka kya hai...more than half of our top stars are the product of nepotism...but lets not forget that there are so many who didn't make it despite being the sons and daughters of big shots of BW...I think what Shahrukh once said is absolutely correct...that I can pass on my genes to my children but not my stardom...that they will get on their own...If Arjun connects with the audience...he will be a big star one day...if not he will fizzle out...yes nepotism does give one more chances than they deserve but it doesn't guarantee success...biggest examples are Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail...same parents...same upbringing...same connections...but look where Salman is and where the other two are...

I think Arjun is much better as a flawed character than a hero. I thought he was good in Ishaqzaade and under-appreciated in Aurangzeb (probably his best performance, IMO).

He was good in Ishaqzaade and Aurangzeb, I think he's just good in villain roles!!

He wouldn't even be a TV actor if he weren't Boney Kapoor's son.

He's Abhishek 2. May have success/appreciation sporadically like Abhishek had in Yuva, Bunty Aur Babli but eventually he'll be reduced to a supporting actor.

He has zero screen presence, no looks and is a so so actor.

I really tried hard to like this guy but it's not happening He's a decent actor but he has no charisma or star presence. I could think of so many actors that could have pulled off ALL of his characters as good or better than him. He just looked bored all the time. I agree that certain star kids have the X factor like Varun Dhawan seems to have that "hero" quality. But Arjun isn't appealing.
