I admire him for being self made and openly declaring how attached he is to stardom.

But I hate this jaap of being from lower middle class family or having only watery dal to live on etc.!

His father knew Gandhis. In SRK's own words, his father knew SK Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Motilal and many others. They had furniture business, oil business etc. How many lower middle class Indians have such connections and businesses?

Movie stars it seems also have obsession to play "poverty card" like politicians. One financial crisis, one rejection, one night of sleeping on a bench is blown up into a great struggle! As if whole life was spent in penury.
