I agree with the whole fair and lovely should be banned and stopped and what not. But isn't it doing the same thing by saying Unfair is beautiful so implying darker skin is more beautiful than fair skinned people. I would have preferred it to have shown that no matter if your are dark or fair you are beautiful.

You are right. But I guess Nandita is addressing to those women who have the same skin color as her, to stay the way you are.
