Ajay Devgn to turn director again!

Ajay Devgn is getting ready to direct a new film, Shivay. He will also produce it, which will be presented by Eros International.
The title Shivay is the third word from the Sanskrit chant 'Om Namah Shivay' which the actor has also tattooed on his chest. He will set out on an extensive recce after wrapping up Rohit Shetty's muchawaited Singham 2.
No prizes for guessing that Ajay will play the central role. The film, according to a source close to the development, is being planned as a big-ticket action flick. Ajay has been working on the script with a team of writers. It will be shot primarily in Mumbai and is expected to go on floors next year.
The actor set up his production company in 2000, which was flagged off by Raju Chacha, a family comedy starring him and his wife Kajol in the lead. Eight years later, he co-produced U Me Aur Hum, which marked his directorial debut. This time too, Kajol was his leading lady. Whether Kajol will star in Shivay is yet to be decided.
This will be Ajay's second official directorial venture but according to trade know-alls he also ghost-directed Son Of Sardaar, which was Ashwini Dheer's directorial. Post SOS, Ajay wanted Ashwini to direct another film for him titled Mangalam, but the latter refused the offer saying that he does not want to sit in the backseat again. Buzz is, Ashwini took the Mangalam script to Hrithik Roshan, who has still not given his nod.
A source said, "Ajay and Eros have a great working equation since the days of SOS, which despite clashing with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan amassed nearly Rs 140 crore. Now, they are looking forward to working together on Shivay."
