May I just vent? 😵
From Aishwarya to Shilpa to Vidya to Kajol to Karisma to Esha to Kareena to Madhuri to Genelia to many other actresses I'm missing: we've seen at least one wedding or reception pic.
These people are celebrities and do not have much of a private life. I respect the fact that some of these celebs want their privacy and they deserve it. It has always disturbed me when I see media people during funerals/last rites etc. That is such a private affair. But a wedding is a whole different occasion and it is only natural for a fan to want to see a wedding pic of their favorite actress. I understand that not everyone is going to be social. That is fine. But you're in an industry where having a private life is very hard.
I for one have eagerly been awaiting this grand marriage of Rani. And now it's finally happened. The groom: we expected (though I had that tad bit of hope it wouldn't be him). But whatever makes the girl happy is what matters. But to not get one pic from the wedding or reception is quite frustrating. I speak for all Rani fans who have eagerly been patiently awaiting a release of a pic at least from the reception if not wedding. But no. Mr. Invisible has probably restrained his lady love from being accessible to media. Because were it up for Rani herself, I'm sure she wouldn't disappoint fans. Maybe I'm not being reasonable to some people, maybe I'm overlooking this whole situation, or maybe I'm overreacting to a simple thing. Fact is it's human nature to want to see your favorite star in their wedding attire. Almost every major mainstream actress that has gotten married till today has a picture in a REAL life wedding attire either from the wedding or from the reception.
It is frustrating. Now that she's married to Mr. Invisible are we going to see less and less of her at social events etc? 😵 Is he going to deprive her right from the media? She's an actress...that too a major one. He's a director/producer. He can go hide himself all he wants because that's his nature. But why deprive someone that right? It seems like in this household, what he says goes. Argh the frustration again. It's simply not fair.
The wedding happened so suddenly. Everything just happened in the spur of the moment. One second they were married in Italy, the next second they were already back in Mumbai with 2 receptions held and done with. Wow! And we get pics, but of people that we don't even know. I mean those pics I posted how many people did we really know? 1? 2? 3 or 4? And once again not even 1 pic of the beautiful bride.
I'm done with my rant. 😡
