How simple it was back then, no make up, just a simpel salwar...
And they had tables at the awards, looks elegant

I miss those days.

Anyway, even the first thing I also noticed was Kareena's way of walking to the stage and her collecting the award as if she was just rushing to get this all done and wound up. 😆 Aishwarya in contrast seemed really graceful.😊

I think the training and grooming which they receive in beauty pageants also makes a world of difference to their walk and talk, which is why likes of Aishwarya, Sushmita, Lara etc., had such poise that set them apart from others.

Earlier newcomers in Bollywood were definitely not as groomed as they are now.

Still not all actors and actresses behaved the way Kareena did in this video. In 50s-60s, awards were a highly prestigious affair with cream of all fields attending the function, including the country's Prime Minister and President. People did follow a certain ettiquette and did not just romp through the routine like a youth fest or local wedding party.

I love how awkward and shy she is in both videos..she looks gorgeous in both videos. She barely has any makeup in the first video and she still looks pretty.

Why is Saif being all awkward in the second video? lol Bebo didn't even acknowledge Saif.

the way Akshay Khanna hugs Bebo. Awww ❤️ I miss him. :(

She didn't even look at Saif in the 2nd video..and look where they are now..

no one can predict the future very true..who would've though they will end up together?

Is it me only or was really rude to Ash 😕 I mean she didn't say a thank you while taking mic from Ash or didn't even exchange a polite look.. was she mad at not getting the Best Actress Award?? I cant understand that attitude
