Sonakshi Sinha to start shooting for Rajinikanth starrer in May

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is all set to start shooting for the Rajinikanth starrer film in May.

A source said, "Sonakshi has just left for IIFA and post the event she would be taking an overseas holiday. Once back, she would immediately begin shooting for this Tamil film with Rajinikanth."

It is expected that the shooting would begin after May 9, once Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone starrer Kochadaiiyaan' would have hit the screens.

Sonakshi Sinha confirms, "Very few people in the industry get an opportunity to do a film with Rajinikanth. If I had to make a debut in South, it had to be something as big as this. I can't wait to begin shooting for him in May."

Apparently, this K.S. Ravikumar directed film spans across generations as it goes from current times to the flashback.

"It would be too early for me to detail that out. However, I am glad that it is a very worthwhile role," Sonakshi said, who is also gearing up to get a hold of Tamil for the film.

"It is a new language, new people and new industry. Yes, the film is basically in Tamil and it is going to be a new experience. I believe they would be releasing the film in Hindi as well," she said.

Meanwhile, on her return to India, Sonakshi would also begin promotion of Akshay Kumar starrer Holiday which releases in June. Meanwhile, she would be resuming shoot for Tevar as well where she has Arjun Kapoor for company. Guess after five releases last year, Sonakshi isn't in mood to take any rest whatsoever this year as well.
