Emraan's son Ayan loves Toronto, doesn't want to return to Mumbai

Emraan Hashmi's son Ayan had been detected with WILMS tumour in its second stage and is being treated in Toronto, where he is with his mother. Emraan stayed with his son for a month, but had to return to shoot on Feb 14 due to his professional commitments. He is currently in Cape Town finishing shooting Raja Natwarlal and Mr X, post which, he will join his son in Toronto middle of May.

Emraan connects with his son every day on Skype. Talking about Ayan's health, he said, "He is undergoing his third-last chemotherapy, post which he will be totally clear of his tumour. I plan to take him for a holiday to Vancouver before his last chemo as, in Toronto, he has hardly ventured out of the house to avoid infection. We celebrated his birthday on Feb 3. The theme of his birthday had been superheroes. We had told him that he was about to become Batman as he had been very strong. And just below Batman, comes Iron Man. There is this guy in Toronto, who comes home and has this Iron Man suit. He was in the living room and we had Ayan waiting on the top, till this man got into his Iron Man suit. I took him down the staircase and we thought he would be excited, but he became nervous seeing his superhero standing in front of him. I left him on Feb 14, telling him a lie. I told him that the pilot wants money, otherwise he would take him back to Mumbai. So I would need to go to Mumbai to work and make that money so that Ayan could stay in Vancouver. He loves that place as he loves snow. In fact, he doesn't want to come to Mumbai now as there is no snow here. I will again have to go and patao him to bring him back and probably have to take him back there every year as he loves travelling."
