2 States is looking at a very good first day as it started very well and maintained the pace as it is a holiday for Good Friday. The multiplex collections across India are good with bigger cities being very good.
The first day total is looking on a course for a total around the 10 crore nett mark going by collections till late afternoon. The totals in circuits like CP Berar, CI, Bihar etc will be comparatively lower than circuits like Mumbai, Delhi/Up, East Punjab and Mysore but it is these circuits which is driving the film on day one.
The final total for day one could be a slightly higher or lower than 10 crore but even at a worse case scenario it will the third biggest opening day of the year after Jai Ho and Gunday.
