just noticed how much people hate Sid Mal over here🤢🤢🤢

btw coming to HTP as someone had said that it wasn't a hit...what matterred to Sid and his fans (most importantly me ) was that he gets appreciated for his acting talent and all the hard work he has put in...and well he did get noticed😉😳

1. Faheem Nurani: After his first film Student of The Year, Siddharth Malhotra, climbs up several notches, proving that he is more than just a pretty boy. You may want to take him a little more seriously as an actor post HTP and even the awkwardness that he displayed while dancing in his first film has disappeared. Proof: See him groove to Shake it like Shammi.

2. Mohar Basu: Sidharth Malhotra is way more than just a gorgeous face. Way back in SOTY I realized this guy has thunderous caliber and he proves it here. In every bit Malhotra matches up to Parineeti's terrific work with equal gusto. He is gregarious but restrained and there is a serene calmness in his performance which makes him a smashing hit. To compliment Parineeti's boisterousness is quite a challenge and so far he is the co-star she is best suited with.

3. Sidharth Malhotra, in only his second film, is no less effective. Although he starts off by exhorting everybody to shake it like Shammi', his elegantly gangly gait and cool, confident screen presence are reminiscent of the mannerisms of the early Amitabh Bachchan.

4. Rajeev Masand: She has palpable chemistry with Malhotra, who's in very good form as the rudderless Nikhil, conflicted in matters of both heart and career.

5.. Taran Adarsh: Sidharth is a revelation and the scene stealer! He enacts the role of the middle class guy with restraint and complete understanding. It's a mature act, with the one-film-old actor handling the delicate moments with utmost sensitivity, bringing a lot of credibility on table. At the same time, he is full-on charismatic when required, especially in the dance numbers. In short, the two actors, Sidharth and Parineeti, carry the weight of the love story on their able shoulders without floundering even in a single sequence.

Bohot Accha...when guys find a girl attractive, she's a superstar even if she can't move a muscle on her face or can't deliver a proper dialogue (cough Katrina cough) after 10 years...we have to jhelofy her just coz she's hot...

When girls find a guy attractive, then suddenly we are all looking for the next Marlon Brando...

Milord kyun yeh naainsaafi? 😡Women need eye candy too...deal with it...if he's as bad as people say he is, then he anyways won't last beyond his good looks...in any case, jab tak good looks hai, tab tak tho usko dekhne do......nothing wrong with that...

So true. There is hardly any real eye candy in bollywood. Let him be. I'm sure he will improve.

can't deny his looks, he's best looking dude to debut in Bollywood in last 10-15 yrs ... total eye candy, also with a much improved performance in HTP, his height, voice & smile Among the young, Sushant and Sid are my fav, like Arjun too

even his haters know how special he is coz they just can't ignore him😉...and as far as HTP is concerned we know how much he improved and hater's opinion doesn't even matter...when ppl start talking against you..that means you are surely going places😉...he got praised by many critics and we should care a damn about IF critics😆😆...coz their opinion doesn't matter...HTP was a success and that's what matters...who cares if it was not a clean hit...it did better than expectations and we couldn't have asked for more😳

i was just hoping for it to do well in terms of Sid's performance and the fact that it did...and people like Anurag Kashyap saw the honesty in his performance i think the IF critics really need to a back seat🤢
