It does look like the Shore Temple at Mahabalipuram. Maybe they just made a mantapa in front of it.

I know they say the book is always better, but I didn't read it so I can't compare and wouldn't know if they did justice to it, And honestly I don't care, I won't be reading it anyways.

The movie was beautifully made, from the cinematography, direction, to the supporting cast everything you name it, was just perfect.

Let me tell you I went to go see this movie just for Arjun. The promos weren't all that impressive, the songs were average, and I thought Alia and Arjun would've no chemistry. But as much as I adore Arjun it was Alia that impressed me the most. I couldn't take my eyes off of her, she was so at ease with her character, she owned it. I haven't seen Highway so this came as a HUGE surprise. This girl has a talent and she will go far but sadly I think she will be one of those actors that need good directors to bring out the best in them. I mean how else can you explain the disaster SOTY?

Arjun was exceptionally good as well, this is definitely his best performance after Ishaaqzaade. He was sincere, sweet, and doesn't go overboard. People who are saying he needs energy drink must not know this is what his character is suppose to be like. I'm so glad people are accepting him to explore. This over Gunday any day!!!

The supporting cast, What can I say, they were all perfect. Now I understand why all the reviewers were gushing over these characters , especially Amrita she stood out for me, she was simply amazing and it helped that she got the best lines.

All in all 2 states will definitely touch your heart with it's simple yet beautiful storyline. It's definitely worth a watch.

Lol...Arjun..didn't need any energy drinks for sure😆...He came from a broken family ...almost a broken family...He did not have a normal childhood...his mother was abused in front of him everyday...he didn't talk to his father...How can someone coming from such family be all happy and chirpy all the time...he was supposed to be dull and unhappy and apprehensive about everything and I think Arjun portrayed the character perfectly..
