Shahrukh Khan Yet Again Rake In The Moolah from IPL 7 Opening Gala Dinner

The Indian Premier League (IPL) Season 7 kicks of on the 16th of April in Abu Dhabi and is preceded by a Gala Dinner at the Emirates Palace on the 15th, hosted by the Emir of Abu Dhabi. And like the past seasons of IPL, this season too, Shahrukh Khan, the Co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Team has bagged the Opening Ceremony' deal, which involves mega bucks paid-out from the IPL coffers. There is no system of inviting tenders or proposals from capable parties to host the Opening Ceremony and SRK laughs all the way to the bank by monopolising the Naach-Gaana' business of IPL.
Yes this season the Gala Dinner'will have Shahrukh Khan and his Chennai Expressco-star and current favorite - Deepika Padukone serenading the crowd. Kanika Kapoor, who sang the much famous Baby Doll' song Ragini MMS 2is also part of the entertainment program with singer Ankit Tiwari of Aashiqui 2 fame. Farah Khan, yet another SRK favorite choreographed the acts.
Recently I posted about Kanika Kapoor learning the ropes of making it big in Bollywood, rather fast. In fact she has stunned me by grabbing the IPL Entertainment deal. Little investigation informed me that Kanika is hob-nobbing with the Moranis of Cineyug and now it is clear to me how SRK got her on the board for IPL 7 Gala Dinner. Moranis and Sharukh Khan are thick as brothers. So it is one big happy family that will serenade the crowd at IPL 7 Gala Dinner with loads of songs and dance.
