Comon it was pretty obvious that Ted will end up with robin.. I saw this coming after season 7 or 8 when Robin find out that she can't have kids.. You guys thought Barney and robin would last forever.. They never had the kind of chemistry that robin and Ted had..

Comparing it to kkhh is just leaving a bad taste in my mouth.. Kkhh is my least fav movie of all time.. It just crap.. Unlike that movie this show had plot and characters that I loved watching every week ..

This is crap .. I watched only a couple of episodes this season and skipped the finale as well .. but I am really disappointed with Ted-Robin ending up together.

From the very beginning, Barney loved Robin, like seriously loved her. She is the only one for whom he showed any real emotions. A person like Barney (whose father abandoned him) would hardly cheat on the only woman he ever loved (or maybe it's just me being a believer in real emotions). And Robin-Barney were great together. They were meant to be together.

I ship for Barney-Robin .. Ted can find his dream girl in another 9 seasons maybe (I know this was the final season) and still remain confused if she is really THE ONE. One ass I tell ya.

Unpopular opinion but I liked the ending [ except it was super rushed] . Ted and Robin shipper since, well always :P

It was too rushed...if they had to end it with Ted-Robin...they cudve done it when they were younger...lol...Besides it was like the last 2 mins when they got together...

I always loved Ted-Robin...they reminded me of Ross-Rachel..

In real life guys like Barney hardly change...Barney was an OTT version of Joey !! I luv Joey n Barney but they look better unattached...thats the charm of their character...

IKR, and they could have showed the stuff they showed in the last episode, in proper different episodes, the whole season based on just a weekend was stupid.

Like Penny said, the whole story was basically about Ted not falling out of love with Robin than anything, mother came at the end of the story.

I loved Ted and Robin always, scince the very first season.

Barney, I LOVE Barney for the record. he is well , awesome is the word. The scene with his daughter, it was so cute.

I hated the finale. The writers jerked around the audience. Robin tells Ted she doesn't love him and he tells her he will never love her in the same way then few more seasons of character development b/w Ted and Mother and Robin-Barney. And then all of that is thrown away in 5 mins for a twist. It was never organically suppose to be Ted-Robin. It was always Robin-Barney...I mean he didn't called her the Suit. I don't know why. I kind of wish the other theory about the kids being dead was true instead...that would been more shocking.

NPH is an amazing character. His scene with his new baby: BEAUTIFUL!

That being said I can't wait to see alternative ending in the DVD...I hope it was different cuz I hated this ending.

Anyone who watched this show from season one would've known Ted and Robin would end up together. Everyone else was a distraction, they were the real end game just like Rachel and Ross. But I agree she had better chemistry with Barnie than Ted.
