I did not say 'who is the better actor?'
I said who is more likeable as in someone you think you could get along with in real life.

Isn't it too early for comparing a two-film old actor with Ranbir? 🤔 Anyway, I like both, but voted for Ranbir 😳

I voted Neither.

Sid M, in the two interviews that I have seen of his, comes across as bitter. Bitter that he isn't from a BW-family, that he didn't get chances like star kids do. I saw one of his interviews when STOY was about to release and watched it by chance on youtube. That was the impression that I got from him after watching the interview.

Then fast-forward about a year and I watched his KWK4 interview and he still comes across the same. My impression has still not changed and I WANT him to give me a reason to CHANGE it. I really do. He has the looks which are hard to come by in bollywood. But he needs to let go of this 'bitterness'. He should observe how other people handle media/interviews. Perhaps someone who is also an outsider and someone he can relate to like, say SRK or Katrina or Priyanka or Deepika or anyone else. They are not from BW but they have become successful through hardwork and watch their interviews. They don't go on and on about 'not from a BW family'.

As far as his movies go, I haven't watched any of them so I have no idea about his acting. Would I be watching any of his movies? I don't know. May be not. I might watch HTP but because of Parineeti.

Ranbir doesn't have a good off-screen persona (at least the one that he depicts in the media/interviews, etc. Not the media depicted image but his own demeanor in interviews and such). He is a really good actor. But the thing is that after I watch his movie, that's it. I don't like him after that. I watched Anjaana Anjaani (that was my first ever Ranbir movie) and I was indifferent. I didn't watch any interviews or hear any BW related news. Then fast forward a few years and I saw his KWK3 interview and I just didn't like him as a person or the image that he projected during the interview. Then I saw the Deepika-Sonam KWK3 interview and I didn't like Ranbir at all. But I still gave Rocket Singh a chance as there are always two sides to a relationship and I was in the mood for something off-beat. And I have to say I was surprised. I finally got the hype around Ranbir. The guy CAN ACT. Then I watched Barfi and I was happy that I watched that movie. BUT my opinion of Ranbir, off-screen, still has not improved.

I am still a bit wary of any of his upcoming movies. An actor's off-screen persona does play quite a huge part in the audience selection of a movie, at least that's what I think.

Would I give any of Ranbir's upcoming movies a try? I don't know. It depends on the story of the movie.

Wow! So well said. 👏
This is what I never liked about Sid as well as Ranbir.

Sid should stop whining in every interview about how he is not a star kid and how everything is new and strange to him. I think he is repeatedly saying this and is trying to win over audience sympathy, but he comes across as weak. He has good looks, a decent fan following too. So he should capitalize on this and move o. He should take a cue from Kat/dips in this regard. Both come across as strong individuals despite being outsiders. 👍🏼

Ranbir, good actor. But is double double faced. At one time, he is desperate to project himself as a Playboy. Ans the next time, he pretends like a good guy misunderstood. 😆

Wow Sidharth has been that blunt. I wonder if he has publicly shown dislike to any Star Kids.

He is definitely seems to get moody. You can tell by the eyes. He sometimes has this angry and plotting look.

Guess he's not as boring and dull as I thought.

Don't even get there!

Sid who?! Ranbir is miles ahead of any actor from his generation, let alone newbies like Sidharth and what not.

I never which one is better at acting

I said 'who is more likeable'

Not going to say which one is a better actor. Ranbir is well established with countless movies and experience to his name. Obviously he will be better at acting.

What I want is this

Some here have mentioned Ranbir has a bad persona off screen. Arrogant, and somewhat fake in interviews. He ain't genuine

Some here have said Siddharth is quite bitter about how he is not a star kid and feels they get the easier way out in Bollywood.

Stuff like that.
