WORD! If Mahabharata is being tried n failed below par BR Chopra's creation.. its best to leave it alone.

If anything that can go worldwide like small time director KIWI director Peter Jackson's view abt TLOR or Hobbit series..

I have a fantasy abt MAHABHARAT TRIOLOGY come alive on International level. Dont wanna see it ruined. The story is a HERO.. and KRISHNA is even BIGGER than HEROS.

Won't work.

Ranbir won't suit Krishna. In fact, Akki would going by OMG.

You need a gigantic figure to play Bheem. Not some haggard looking man.

Shahid is too old to play Abhimanyu. Abhi was 16 when war started.

Akshay as Dury would be funny. Plus, Akki doesn't have the dialogue delivery to carry off a Duryodhan.

Eklavya doesn't have a major part and whatever part he does, it's when he is in his teens. So that cancels Sushant out.

You can't have a 50-year-old Salman/SRK playing Karna-Arjun in their 20s, especially during the Kala Pradarshan. Would look awkward.

Karna's character is the most complex of all in MB and you'd need a phenomenal actor to portray him. For Arjun, Ranbir sounds a good fit.

The problem with MB is that it spans 150 years from Bheesma's birth to Yudhisthir's coronation. So it's better to get young actors to play these characters and age them accordingly using makeup and special effects.

Btw, HR as Karna, Akki as Krishna, and Ranbir as Arjun sound good.

Khans are too old and jaded to play Pandavas. And none has the height and physique to play the burly Suryaputra Karna. They can only fit some senior role.

Yeah, the Khans just don't fit the mold. The only role either could pull off would be of Yudhisthir, but I doubt the Khans would willingly allow others take the major roles (Bheesma, Drona, Krishna, Karna, Arjun), while being relegated to secondary roles. Even though Yudhi does have a big role, who talks about Yudhi? People all talk about Krishna, Karna, Arjun, Bheesma, Duryodhan, Drona, etc.

Duryodhan is another role of a lifetime for anybody who does it. I think Salman/SRK would suit Duryodhan more than the Pandavas. Aamir could do Yudhisthir.

There are so many amazing characters, plots, sub plots, and layers in Mahabhatara. Whoever makes the movie, they have to take inspiration from Peter Jackson. Otherwise, they'll mess it up completely, which I why I don't want anybody to make it right now.
