Its really irritating to see her in chulbuli roles, she looks good in the soft role.

I have not watched Main Tera Hero .. so can't comment on Ileana's acting in the film but in general, she has always said that she has always done hardcore commercial films down south and that's what she plans to do in bollywood as well. In fact, I read in one of her interviews that Barfi is not the kind of movie she would have been offered in South Indian cinema. She was herself surprised when bollywood offered her such a role. She obviously must have taken it up because she wanted to enter bollywood and the film/casting/director everything seemed good on paper.

I don't think that Ileana will go down like Asin. Asin is pretty but doesn't has the typical bollywood heroine personality. Ileana will last, even if only in commercial roles, because she looks hot. And please .. let's not even compare her with Sonakshi.

She seems to be the kinds who act not for proving their acting prowess but to just have fun and earn good money. Such actresses may not get all kinds of critical acclaims but their job is much easier and they got all sorts of endorsements etc. as well .. so of course a lot of money.

She was awful in MTH. She not only acted badly she didn't even look hot at all.

She's definitely done. Another 1-2 movies and she's out.

Agree.

Critics praised her performance too. It was hard to get noticed when you have Ranbir and PC at top notch and she did that. The way she potrayed the conflict in Shruti's mind whether to turn back or not - just perfect.

Don't care how she acted in these flowerpot roles. She should stay away from it. No similarity with Asin eithet apart from South industry background. Asin was always over the top.

Well you might not need to do anything dramatic or substancial acting in a David Dhawan film, but there is still some level of acting that is needed and required in his films.

There are still emotional sequences and scenes that require acting...and once again people here are discounting comedy and forgetting how hard it is to pull off comedy.

I wouldn't even call Illeana a flowerpot, she's BUTT UGLY.
