I think both Pari and Alia are too young to deal with KJO and his nonsense. I am just glad the show is over this season.

Finally watched this epi...

Pari is a supremely confident girl...no surprises there...but with time, some things about her become more apparent...ironically I'm reminded of a Sushant quote about her here...that she is so prepared that even what may come out as spontaneous is actually really rehearsed...that is what struck me from time to time in this epi. Pari is a naturally spunky girl but at the same time a very SHREWD one who knows very well how to play the game and has only become sharper about it with time.

I find it a bit ironic that Alia has a complex over Pari's dialogue delivery/hindi cuz honestly her acting abilities aside, Pari really needs to work on her dialogue delivery cuz she sounds the same in every role.

Also what comes across is Pari's supreme confidence in herself...which is a good thing but at the same time, a little humility, some reality checks would be good for her to be able to GROW as an actress rather than resting on her current laurels.


In the rapid fire, I was struck by how many of Pari's answers were similar to Ranveer's...lol...they both seem to enjoy the tongue in cheek comments over KRK...or maybe Pari saw that epi and decided to emulate that stuff...lol...actually her entire rapid fire looked REALLY rehearsed to me...that is where she started to come apart a bit in my opinion...or she was nervous...whatever it was, her answers were strange to me.


As for Alia...she surprisingly comes across as more genuine than Pari...she looks more girlish and a kid trying very hard to make it while Pari is effortless next to her...she definitely feels intimidated by that and it shows...but in this epi, maybe the fact that she'd already been on the show made Alia less nervous and more whatever about it second time around.

Pari is MUCH sharper than Alia and definitely a more effortless and natural actress and the thing is...she KNOWS it😆...she can't pull on even a mask of humility for the sake of it...her coy attempts to do that in b/w come across as non-genuine...Alia will have to work very very hard to match that or she'll have to create her own space...right now she has all the star kids and industry insiders rooting for her for sure it seems...lol


For all the criticism she gets over her weight, Pari doesn't seem to really get bogged down by it...such supreme confidence in your ACTING talent is a rarity in her contemporaries...although she does seem to be a bit plagued by the criticism over her weight, she seems to overcompensate confidence-wise by being that much confident about her acting.


Overall the episode was a study in APPEARANCES😆

Re: Sushant getting rated last by everyone...lol not really surprising coming from Parineeti either cuz like everyone else, she also chooses the flavor of the month...sycophancy rules.


I just find it amusing that KJo even mentions him...this entire season, Sushant has been on the show in spirit thanks to KJo throwing his name around randomly...why does he even bother, I wonder...lol...Sushant also doesn't seem to fit into KJo's definition of typical star material...it's almost like KJo's FORCED to mention his name cuz you can't ignore the fact that Sushant is currently doing two BIG YRF movies.

Sushant for his part seems like he couldn't care less what these people think of him and he's busy doing his own thing...good for him...he keeps to his own close circle of friends.

Star kids always stick together.

This episode was a little boring. Alia seemed more composed than Pari but that could also be because this is her second time. Pari was cute though, my mom & dad were full on fangirling about her😆

Though I don't know if it's just me but I noticed Alia made some weird faces every time Pari spoke, she made it very obvious that they are not friends. Pari tried her best to be friendly with her but Alia kept putting her off. Did Mahesh Bhatt indirectly say Alia is Shabana and Pari is Smita...uncleji you got it wrong. I mean no offence to Smita Patil but she was always a step behind Shabana and same here Alia will always be a step behind Pari.

The major difference in their acting according to my mom (who saw Highway, I am yet to see it myself) is that Pari is natural, spontaneous and doesn't look like she is acting rather just being the character. Mom said Alia acted well in few scenes of Highway but she still needs to improve and her performance looks like it's rehearsed to the T and not spontaneous.

Also another thing, all the industry kids were picking Alia over Pari like dude can you make it more obvious about your bias😆 Pari doesn't need these people to tell her she is good because the audience and critics lover her no matter what.

Lastly was it just me or Pari and Ranveer are totally alike especially when she also called KJo a cheater🤣

LOL oh yeah I noticed that too...which is why I was then surprised that Pari rated Ranveer below Sid and Varun😕😆...she's so similar to Ranveer and he seems to be the only one who can match her madness but madam herself is busy looking up to "hotness"...it's hard to figure Pari out...there are personas she puts on too.

Ranveer gave a PAT reply when it came to picking Parineeti but Pari for her part seems SO happy with HERSELF that she couldn't care less even about people who seem to like her so much😆...only Saif can make her fall from her pedestal it seems...then she's ready to do ANYTHING😆

Oh yeah, the girls themselves were actually very representative of today's generation...very confident and chilled out...even if they are pitted against each other thanks to KJo's stupid questions, the girls themselves seem to be competitive in a healthy way and not a malicious way, which is nice.

But yeah PLENTY of undertones to catch in the way things were being said...mostly from Pari's side I'd say cuz she's a shrewd one...Alia is just a much dimmer bulb in the brain department😆...I'm actually starting to look at her as harmlessly sweet now😆...

Pari's brain seems to run on a whole another track from her contemporaries and given her preferences and SUPREME confidence in herself, it seems unlikely that she would date any of her contemporaries...despite her desperately trying to advertise that she'll MAKE a boyfriend this year😆


Pari in the second half of the epi was REALLY making me cringe though...especially the rapid fire and her "OMG I'm going to get a heart attack" nautanki every two seconds...looked very fake especially for a girl who oozes so much confidence in general and makes no bones about the fact that she doesn't think anyone matches up to her currently😆
