It's official. I dislike Karan Johar possibly more than all the most annoying celebrities in Bollywood. I find him so symptomatic of the elitist, parochial, incestuously fawning attitude of the industry. It's all about lineage and star kids and friends of the parents, and those who were born with a silver spoon. He is absolutely sickening.

Memo to Karan:

There are more actors in Bollywood apart from who you insist on pushing and fawning over. When you're compiling your stupid top actor / top actress lists, there's more to BW than Ranbir and Kareena.

On that matter, no-one cares about Ranbir and Katrina, you are the only one who enjoys talking about them. Repeat for emphasis: WE DO NOT CARE.

Stop being rude about actresses who are allegedly "chubby" by your disgusting standards. Sonakshi and Parineeti are nowhere near heavyweights. You on the other hand could stand to lose a few kilos.

Before Bollywood fans could start imagining Alia Bhatt as the wife of Ranbir Kapoor, the actress has clarified that all her talk about wanting to marry the Kapoor heartthrob was in jest.

Actress Alia Bhatt, who recently shocked many by confessing on a chat show that she wants to marry actor Ranbir Kapoor, says she didn't literally mean it and is just his fan.

She and actress Parineeti Chopra recently appeared on the final episode of "Koffee With Karan 4", hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar.

"Firstly, being in this industry if I want to marry someone, I will never say it on the national television, especially on 'Koffee With Karan'. So, I just said it in jest, I am a fan girl at the end of the day," the 21-year-old said here Monday at the launch of the new cover of the book "2 States".

"When I say 'I want to marry Ranbir Kapoor', it's not like I literally want to marry him. It's just like a fan girl who wants to take a boy home to meet her parents," she added.
