and apart from kites none of his anticipated films have flopped. Bang Bang might not live up to the anticipation ( god knows ) but no way we can underestimate that a Hrithik starrer film will eat up the collections of a solo PC starrer film.

The guy does one movie a year(if that) so of course he's not going to have as many flops but given movies like Kite and Guzaarish can flop like that it just tells you he's no Khan at the boxoffice.

Of course MK will suffer but if it has good WOM it will survive just fine, the movie doesn't have high budget.

I think SLB really thinks that Mary Kom is good films as in like Queen, great content, great acting... thats why he is taking such a risk!

yes i loved kites too, but i think the film was ahead of its time.. having said that the film collected extremely well in multiplexes with zero collections in mass centres and you know unless a film is doing good amongst masses it tanks irrespective of it being good.

and apart from 2010 ( kites and guzarish ), hrithik had only one flop year and thats immediately after his debut , which is 2002 ( MDK, MPKDH, yadein and AMALL ) .. his only flops in recent times were kites and guzarish, 2002 was way a long back, and his stardom is much more now than those days .

True but ZNMD was promoted around boys rather than around HR-Kat and also after HR divorce and Kat and his articles, there is an increased hype around them

Ya I remember that film but it was 'artistic' kinda film and had average WOM so got tanked

Anyways I really dont care of Bang-Bang... i just want MK to be a hit

If these two movies clash, MC will end up with less than 1000 screens. Most of the gross collections of movies are recovered from the first weekend. Trending like the movie Queen is is extremely rare. A bad decision. IMO

did i say he is a khan ? NO .. but he is a big star enuff whose movie can compete with any smaller film other than his . and that does not mean i am dissing mary kom.

he can never be a khan, he is a risk taker, and i appreciate it how he tries to do films of various concepts not sticking to mass or class only . Hope Aushotosh gowariker's film works .

extremely bad decision. and guess what this will be kat and HR's first release after one long year. ppl will go beserk, ofcourse.

Wasnt Jai Ho a solo release yet a flop 😆 Khans have given more flops then HR ... if the film is even decent with good music it'll break records ... though I do feel MaryKom also has equal opportunity to succeed if it has gr8 WOM ...

This whole Kat and Hrithik Jodi being super couple is funny just because couple of people on IF ship them doesn't mean people care about this couple. Not many outside this forum talk about this super couple it's usually Hrithik and Bebo or Aish that create more buzz

Anyways good luck to MK! I didn't really like Knight and Day, don't think I will like its remake...
