Deepika did not say that.. The article stated;

If the grapevine is to be trusted, Deepika herself politely turned down Sooraj Barjatya's offer to appear opposite the star because she wasn't convinced of the script, making way for Sonam Kapoor to land the project instead.

And the artical was published by rajeev masand , who himself leakes dps pr articals and blind items based on rediculing other actress and praising deepika . Some blind item indicating pc is jelous of deepika , anushka inquiring about deepika and at end dps comment that so much intrest in her life if she is just aquantence , artical about sonam that she dosnt leave her designers to work with deepika. Suddenly all this actress have started to like katrina coz when katrina was on top she never played such pr games with her rivals . Wake up and smell the coffee. Even if u guys deny or redicule sonam for speaking up , deepika has been exposed in front of whole industry.
