I don't care if the actor is 10 or 100, if I have to pay to see your face on screen, you have redeeming qualities or I will rip you apart, no mercy. I am all about paisa vasool 😆

I will also say I feel sorry for these star kids because of the lives their parents lead. Money truly cannot buy happiness and that is where Iam grateful for my middle class upbringing.

Comeone she is human being at end of day! Every star/actor feels bad when he/she is bashed and criticized... No one is telling audience to control themseleves, Its just that they do get emotional at times and loosen their strength to face the harsh reality of showbiz!

Anyways had the criticism been only for acting, it had been fine and she was bashed for things not related to it at all...

Aww no wonder I love this gal...She is so honest and forthcoming all the time...didnt refuse to accept that it was awkward that her dad had 2 wives..I have always felt though she appears chirpy and bubbly she can be very moody and at times she just cuts off and goes into her own world.Sid has said the same about her in an interview

No, but i really think they are close to each other...specially now that they have been shooting for another film.. I dont think there was anything romantic between them ever though.

It's quite plausible. She is a good singer if not great. At least she is honest about liking attention.

She has the right to feel sad for criticisms thrown against. her. Heck, every human being from child to old person does not like criticism. You can say she is just 20 years old and she was criticized for her looks, personality and so on. I would absolutely not criticize her if she was Mahesh Bhatt's daughter, private citizen. But the minute she became Alia Bhatt, handed a career with potential fame, money endorsements and got to meet KJo and get the job because she is Mahesh Bhatt's daughter at 20 why should I not judge her as actress Alia regardless of age ?

She had a dream to be an actress BFD. So do many and what they face if they came to Mumbai at 17 or 20 or 30 is the casting couch and sleeping around to make ends meet, unsupportive family and so trouble. I reserve my sympathy for them.

Sridevi's 17 year old daughter is being launched. I will not snark about the way she looks if she posts an instagram selfie or red carpet pictures of her posing with her parents because she is Jahanvi private citizenn, 17 year old daughter of Bonnie and Sridevi who are public figures. But the minute she wants to be or is launched as Jhanvi Kapoor potential actress by KJo or anyone, all bets are off. She is again handed a career because of her pedigree so yeah, everything from her looks to personality to onscreen persona to acting will be compared to her mother who was par excellence at 16. No whining about she is only 17 when she and her parents obviously think she is ready ? 17 year olds who come starry eyed from the villages face the casting couch, they don't get any allowances for their age. Why should Jhanvi be spared comparisons and criticism because she is 17 and Sridevi's ladli beti ? I don't feel bad at all about snarking about her looks or acting. So many people work their behinds off to become actors for years, why should Alia or Jhanvi be spared because of their age when their pedigree hands them a career on a plate ?

I applied the same standards I have to starkids I now like with even bigger pedigrees like Ranbir and Kajol and I adore them as actors now. Their talent alone won me over, not their looks or personality or dress or anything. Alia did the same with Highway, so yeah, if you are handed a career with fame, money, endorsements and all the perks that come with a celeb because of mummy and daddy you better be ready to face the vicious music, regardless of age and be thankful you are not facing casting couches instead.
