Who is a better actor - Siddharth or Imran ?

This question is like who is the most boring of the two.

I was not impressed with any of the SOTY trio. But out of the three Varun Dhawan had the best screen presence though Sid is the most good looking.

But good looking or a good body are not going to take you far in this industry filled with such people. You need to have a strong screen presence or be memorable.

Look at Rajnikanth, he never was good looking or had a great body, is not eloquent. but he is the biggest success story.One of the reasons is his screen presence. You just could not look away from him and his onscreen persona. Aamir is quite boring in RL, on screen he lights up. Sonakshi in Dabaang is a great example of how even in her first film someone with a strong screen presence like Salman could not drown while Daisy Shah with a weak presence got swallowed. Kat is not a great actress, but she has incredible screen presence that even the biggest stars do not drown. To like someone on screen, they must be memorable IMO.

Sid is good looking, but has neither the on screen or off screen personality to be memorable nor is he a great talent. Imran was the same too, but he has a powerful mamu and connections. I will be shocked if Sid lasts more than 5 years.

Both are poor actors, but choosing Imran since he did Delhy Belly.

Well, Imran started out promising with JTYJN...and then came the crap acting that never improved. For example, points to gif.

Sidd is also promising, although he is really stiff. But most people don't care about that because they are too busy looking at this.

I think Sid will be the future Imran. I've not seen HTP though. Both mediocre in their roles.

I do sort of feel sorry for Imran. I mean if Sonam, who he started out with, is still getting film offers even though most her films have tanked at the Box Office, she's also mediocre. Then why are people writing Imran off so soon?

Even DP, pre-Cocktail, all her movies were flopping and she was a bad actress, yet she was still getting offers. Today she's become a good actress, so maybe Imran can too one day (Wishful thinking!)

The problem is Imran doesnt seem to care about films, his career. There is no range in his expressions. I never thought Deepika was that bad...

Sid is good looking he can be the male version of Katrina. He just needs to use his looks tho.. His whole I don't want to take my shirt off, I want to be known as an actor is stupid. He needs to wake up and smell the coffee he's no Ranbir Kapoor. So before they kick him out, he needs to be smart and use what he's got.

I only ever liked Imran in JTYJN. I'll go with Sid :) He didn't impress me too much in SOTY, I must admit I was more taken by his looks 😆 But I think he improved a lot in HTP and he's got that drive to keep persevering, he knows he's not the best but he strives to get there one day. I don't see that in Imran much nor does he seem to be improving :S

Siddharth Malhotra has some potential while Imran Khan is utterly hopeless so I'll give my vote to Sid for sure.

If someone as wooden as Deepika can improve then there is hope for Siddharth and EVEN Imran.

It seems like Imran doesn't even want to do well himself. I don't see him being ambicious like Ranbir, or even Sushant. He jus seems like hes sailing by and just making his money.

Siddharth, is at least saying in interviews that he wants to do very well and wants to be known for his acting. His performance in HTP is a lot better from SOTY. I think he can do it if he wants to.
