From what I have heard ..Shahrukh has a double role...He plays himself and the Fan too😆...I don't know how that will work though.

The whole film has left me super confused. Never been this confused about anything since 12th class physics. 😆

YRF has clarified that the release date of its Shah Rukh starrer, FAN, remains 14th August, 2015. There is no change in the release date

Ileana opposite SRK?

There has been a lot of speculation about who will star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Maneesh Sharma's film Fan.

According to the trade buzz, Ileana D'Cruz is likely to feature in the film in which King Khan essays a double role.

The makers of the film, however, prefer to be still tightlipped.

For any Bollywood actress, the high point of their career is working with the Baadshah Of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. While a host of leading actresses today such as Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma got lucky with their first film itself, it may be time for south sensation Ileana D'cruz to get lucky now.

With speculations rife about Illeana being approached for the role of the female lead in SRK's Fan, we can't help but wonder if this will be the biggest film for her career. The actress was previously seen in hits such as Barfi and Main Tera Hero. If she bags this role, this will be the first time the duo will be seen together. There was also buzz about Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor being considered for the same role earlier.

Shah Rukh will be sporting a different look in this film and will start shooting for the film once he wraps up with the promotional activities of his upcoming Diwali release Happy New Year.

Since there has been no official confirmation yet, looks like we will have to wait and watch who will be bagging this plum role.

The big break

Illeana D'Cruz has been finalised as the lead actress opposite Shah Rukh Khan in his next film

SHAH Rukh Khan may be currently very busy with the promotions of Farah Khan's film, Happy New Year, but he will soon start devoting longer hours to his next film, titled Fan. Right from the time the film was announced, there has been a lot of speculation about the actress who will be cast opposite SRK. While names of many actresses did the rounds, sources say that it is Ileana D'Cruz who has bagged this role. Says a source, "Illeana has been finalised as the leading lady opposite Shah Rukh in Fan. She will have an interesting role in this film and this is definitely a big opportunity for the young actress." The source reveals that the film is supposed to go on the floors sometime in September.

"It is based on the story of a fan whose sole mission is to meet the one person he has idolised for long," adds the source.

Maneesh Sharma, director of Fan, and Ileana's spokesperson were unavailable for comment.
