Its general question ...Playback singer is some one whose voice is suitable to every actor hero ...earlier from 1990's till 2010 there were three singers .Sonu Nigam , Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu theese voices were capable enough to suite on any actor have the expressions according to the song ...Sonu and Udit often reffered as the voice of Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan and kumar sanu for akshey kumar...though they have been good on every actor lypsinging it be it aftab shivsani, priyanshu chatterjee , saif ali khan, fardeen khan, , jimmy shergil or zayed khan etc etc ... So in current who do u think is capable enough to be in the same zone ...???

Although I was ,I am and always will be a Sonu Nigam fan like your username.😊.but I love Arijit Singh's voice in the current list of singers..

besides Javid ali no one can be in the same zone of good playback voice as of Sonu Nigam , Udit Naryan and Kumar Sanu.., Arijit singh is overrated he have a husky voice which can not suite any actor to say imagine him singing for shahrukh khan ...and see the result what mohit chahuan did in saans it was so awkward to see mohit voice on Shahrukh khan ...

Lol at Yo Yo Honey Singh. Another foreign mediocre talent that latches his claws on Bollywood.

Some of his songs in Cocktail was good but that's about it.

Does he even playback sing? It's mostly RAP and Bhangra

i guess he did lungi dance of some song for shahrukh khan in cheenai express and he is also singing in upcomming sshahrukh khan films like Happy New Year

Who is the person who sang Zinda in Bhaag Milka ? Loved his voice as it had a nice rock edge as well as a pleasant voice.

Currently there are good singers like Ankit Tiwari, Javed Ali, Javed Bashir, Nikhil D'Souza, Vishal, Benny Dayal, Arijit Singh, Papon, Amit Trivedi, Amitabh Bhattachariya, Mohit Chauhan and Swanand Kirkire

Why does there have to be a best? All these singers have different voice qualities. I like the fact that there's more variety today than there was in the past.
