When Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the brand ambassador of Kalyan Jewellers landed in Delhi to inaugurate three showrooms of Kalyan Jewellers, she brought the capital to a standstill. Ash stunned one and all with her new look. Dazzled in black and golden outfit, she in the traditional style cut the red ribbon and inaugurates the three showrooms opened in Karol Bagh, Pitampura and Defence Colony.
Fans gathered in large numbers at the three locations of Delhi to get a glimpse of the slim and pumped hair Aishwarya and Ash too waved to the fans and asked them to be careful so that no one gets hurt. There was long traffic jams around those three areas and police stepped in to control the crowd.
Each showroom covers an area of 15,000 sq. ft. and has a separate floor for diamond and gold jewellery. The company's expansion plans are to open 100 showrooms by 2015, reports say.
"The launch of our stores in Delhi underlines the importance of this dynamic market. We are hopeful that Kalyan Jewellers' tryst with Delhi will make more jewellery aficionados appreciate the brand and its unparalleled collection of jewellery," T.S. Kalyanaraman, managing director, Kalyan Jewellers, said in a statement.
