Ranbir, Deepika to take off to a mystery island

Our source says, "A good part of the story of Window Seat is set on the island and Ranbir and Deepika will be spending a number of days there shooting for the film."

The last time when the two had globe-trotted for a film was during their Bachna Ae Haseeno days. Back then it was a different scenario as the two were still in a relationship. Now of course their equation has changed. But they continue to remain good friends and that's the reason why the European sojourn is being much looked forward to.

When asked about it, director Imtiaz says, "As a matter of fact, the film is not about a romantic relationship. It's a story about self-discovery. Yes, we'll be shooting on an European island apart from India, where a large part of the film will be canned."

While there was a long gap of a year-and-a-half between his Imtiaz's last two films Rockstar and Highway, Window Seat is expected to be completed a lot quicker, well in time for a mid-2015 release. Meanwhile, rest assured, gossip mills will have a field day for as long as Ranbir and Deepika stay on that mystery island.
