Not taking away from PC's performance because she was awesome..but in terms of her character not making us feel sorry for her..I think the credit should go to the director too. Because the whole movie was like that..you weren't suppose to feel sorry for her or Ranbir..I think that was more of the directors vision, While Rani in Black..the whole movie was depressing because it was all about feeling sorry for Rani's character..and that was more how SLB wanted it to be not Rani. PC and Ranbir characters seemed normal to me because the director didn't focus on their disability.

And YusBee..I agree about PC in SKM..I think her performance is underrated in that film..like you said esp when she turned old..she was so creepy esp in that scene were she goes I will drink his blood or something like that. Also in a scene where she is drunk and is dancing around her house..so creepy. lol..the script def failed her but she gave it her best. She was so natural and raw.

its nice to see a whole buncha good strong female

roles 😊 i loved sonakshi in lootera, she just transformed

herself in that film especially in latter half

and sridevi in english vinglish was a departure from her

screechy OTT roles

but vidya in kahaani spelt grace, strength, and you came out

in awe of this woman who vidya played even tho it was just a

role.

I want to add some more, that I don't see in the poll, that are my personal favorites

Vidya In Ishqiya- I found her performance in this movie a lot better than in TDP or Kahani,

Kajol in We are Family - I know a lot of people thought she was overrated in the movie, but I thought her acting was very real and flawless, That scene where she breaks down after realizing she cancer was very moving!

Aishwarya in Guzarish - One of the most underrated performances EVER. I found that she got in to the character very well and emoted well. So reminded me so much of Rekha in this movie her voice sounded just like her.

Kareena in Ek Mein Ek Tu - I personally felt she was really good in this movie a very natural performance. I like her in this one a lot more than Talash which is in this poll.

Parineeti in HTP/Ishaqaade - Shocked that these performances aren't in the poll, I find her performance a lot better than many of the ones listed. Especially HTP, who else can do that role? No one.

Deepika in Cocktail - This is the movie that changed everything for her and also shocked how this wasn't mentioned. One of her best and strongest performances.

Overall though ,For me, Sridevi in EV, Kangana in Queen, and Parineeti in HTP score the highest.

KAJOL - I myself loved her performance in WRF but with general view that this forum has, I decided not to include her! That scene was powerful...
PARNEETI - I had a point decided to include her but again this forum consider her to be extremely overrated and she has a lot of years ahead her in which she easily prove her mantle as an actor with a stronger performance
DEEPIKA- cocktail is my personal favourite by her strongest performance has been CE
