Deepik wants to be Ad in Zoya's next

Generally, the role of an assistant director (AD) comes early in the life of an aspiring Bollywood actor. The likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Sonam Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, all worked as ADs on other stars' films, before they turned actors themselves.Deepika Padukone,who went from being a ramp model to an actor, however, seems willing to walk the road less taken. She is apparently so impressed with the script of Zoya Akhtar's next (about a dysfunctional Punjabi family that goes on a luxury cruise together), that she says she wants to come on board in any capacity, even in a nonacting role.
When we askDeepikaabout it, she concedes that the storyline has floored her. "I love the script so much that I am ready to work in any capacity on the film, including an assistant director (AD)," she says, with a smile.
