Here people were going ballistic saying Deepika asked for Shuddhi, when Bebo's bhaiya himself gave her the script. Lol unlike how Rohit said Kareena begged Rohit for a role in Singham 😆

But why don't people call it begging when actors like Shahrukh, Salman, Aamir, Saif talk to film makers and decide that they wanna work together and have makers WRITE roles for them?

Why is THAT considered "influence" and "collaboration" wheras this is begging?

Begging is when a maker already has a role and you lobby for it, which all actresses do. Nothing new or great about it. Makers are looking to cast, actresses are looking for roles. MUTUAL BENEFIT.

How many actresses can get the supposed #1 commercial director in the country to WRITE a role for them?

He WROTE a role for her? Doesn't seem like begging to me. Directors aren't oh so kind hearted that they will go through the effort to write up roles for any Tom Dick or Harry.

A director needs to WANT to work with you equally to want to write.

If a director is merely giving alms to a begger, he would toss to her what he already has.

In the case of Singham 2, VARIOUS source, INCLUDING ROHIT SHETTY AND AJAY DEVGN, hae said that Kareena's role went through major changes when they realized that they cant approach her unless it suits her talent.

Main Rule - Beggers cant be choosers

In Kareena's case, she still was making the choices and pulling the strings and demanding a better role. Therefore, by default, she aint a begger. Not even close.

I call this influence.

No airi gairi actress can call up Rohit Shetty and ask him "Write a role for me".

Influence vs begging. Main difference.

I say she loved Deepika's role in CE, understandbly so.

So she wants to do something like that, as usual she is following path that the other actresses created. It's also going to backfire just the way Heroine did.

Or maybe she's hoping that Rohit gives her a kickass role like he did in Golmaal 3. Golmaal was all about the boys until Rohit wrote Daboo, the orphan who hangs out with the boys and spurts gaaliyan galore.

Not everything has to be about other actresses. Kareena herself has had pleasant good experiences with Rohit too you know, before Deepika came and supposedly reinvented Rohit Shetty heroines. There was Daboo.

Oh except for the fact that

Kareena was on board with Rohit Shetty for G4 long before Chennai Express was even conceived. FYI.

But OFCOURSE, let's just ignore that fact. Because it's Kareena Kapoor. And OF COURSE Kareena Kapoor only does films solely based on other actresses.

With Kareena's luck this role might not be as good as Deepika's in CE. She has bad luck as well as bad choice in choosing roles.N of course she won't do anything which requires too much work or experimenting. Such a lazy goose. 😆
