@Search around Andaman Island is more or less a military exercise to very the border security.

If what is being said right now , the fact that this plane managed to flow across the very interiors of India is pretty crazy.

That is only if it has reached Kazakhstan...what if it has indeed gone into the sea because the fuel got finished midway.
If the ppl were alive and were held as hostages then there would have been demand, negotiations etc... Maybe this is failed hijacking or the plane is hijacked & hidden somewhere for future use.

but i don't get it
if it was hijacked as it is confirmed now- the hijacker would have wanted it to land somewhere instead of just making it roam around to the point the fuel got finished and it crashed
I mean if he has the brains to hijack and give directions and all - he wont be stupid to just let it reach a point where it runs out of fuel!
is there a possibility of the plane being landed somewhere secretly? coz so far no news of a crash is confirmed either!

and then there was this news of a call being made from one of the passengers' phone- I mean it wouldn't be possible had the plane been crashed!

I do not think the plane crashed in the sea or anywhere. For a week they have been looking in the ocean but there is nothing. There is no black box signal. It likely flew over land and if it did crash it would be because it got shot down.

They were saying earlier it could only fly for about 5 hours because of the fuel. Now they are saying last data was till 8:11 am Malaysian time.

According to the new data, the last confirmed communication between the plane and the satellite was at 8:11 AM Malaysian time, on Saturday the 8th of March. The investigation team is making further calculations, which will indicate how far the aircraft may have flown after the last point of contact. This will help us to refine the search. Due to the type of satellite data, we are unable to confirm the precise location of the plane when it last made contact with a satellite. However, based on this new data, the aviation authorities from Malaysia and their international counterparts have determined that the plane's last communication with a satellite was in 1 or 2 possible corridors: the northern corridor, stretching approximately from the border of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to northern Thailand, or the southern corridor stretching approximately from Indonesia to the Southern Indian ocean. The investigation team is working to further refine the information.'

Not every hijack would mean a negotiation. This plane was carrying some serious lithium batteries and who knows what else.
As much as I hope the passengers are safe , but considering the number of days passed it remains a very bleak possibility .
Failed hijack doesn't explain flying so randomly, it would have been easier for it to land in a friendly airstrip and make demands. Surely if they can control a 777 on air , they would have been more careful with their ground work.

The supposed trajectory doing the rounds shows this place going through the very heart of India. GOI should clear the confusion.

@JonahFisher 33m Being briefed by Malaysia officials they believe most likely location for MH370 is on land somewhere near Chinese/Kyrgyz border.

Captain with elaborate Home SIM
First Pilot who had a slight disregard for rules (inviting people inside the Cockpit and smoking)
1 Chinese Uighur with electronics training and Sim experience.
2 Iranians with stolen passports (Definitely suspicious)
1 Malaysian Airlines Aeronautics Engineer (just released information)
20 senior Engineers working for a semi-conductor company
1 Chinese Telecom Engineer
1 Mechanical Engineer from New Zealand
1 Technical Engineer working for IBM (American)
Muktesh Mukherjee, one of the Indians on-board was also an Engineer, I think.

Is it me or are there way too many people with some kind of specialized knowledge about electronics/avionics/telecom?

Is this the reason why the Malaysian authorities are focussing their attention on the passengers and crew list?

Yes but why? What would be the reason for doing all this?😕
