i really hate her lineup tbh

had lots of expectations of her from her after lootera but the new films seem to be of the same action flowerpot sort

unless I'm missing something, what are her lineups? i know three and they seem to be action/masala

Tevar would be Romantic/Thriller. The director Amit himself said they reduced action scenes and rather showcase more of India. Anyway, heroine in original had equal screenspace as hero.

Her 2 new films should be announced in coming weeks. Both her FLOWERPOT roles Action Jackson & Holiday were signed last year March and Tevar in May. None of her other films have been announced. Since she has declined 4 films Sarabjit biopic, Mani Ratnam film, Dolly Ki Doli and Welcome Back

Lets wait for good announcement8

Having a good-line of films (on paper that too!) does not ensure an actor's success.

At the end of the day, the films have to do well at the BO, the actor has to garner appreciation by critics and masses and the actor in question should have a steady fanbase to ensure that they are here to stay.

Sonam's line-up looks good, certainly, but till her films release and one can see her work, cannot comment on whether she will be a winner or not!

Of all the films I have seen of Sonam, the only one I liked was Raanjhnaa. She is a decent actor, very pretty looking too, but I find her screen presence to be dull.

I don't really want to get into DP again by comparing Sonam with her. But I want Sonam, Sonakshi, and Kangana to have huge success. They are all very talented. Sonam had to improve a little bit in her acting though and Sona should choose performance oriented roles.

i just hope she keeps picking great roles. she has a great earthy classic beauty to her and i think she is great. hopefully no more flowerpot roles for her ever again.

@poppy: you're right, i do agree with you. but i just found it really surprising (and nice) that sonam BOUNCED back so big though she was "missing" for years and only just recently had ranjhanaa to her credit. deepika seems to be lagging even despite having an awesome year (not bashing, i'm a deepika fan). but you're absolutely right that it's not just the roles but the performance itself. but without a good lineup, actresses won't get to showcase their potential and so i was hoping for some good roles for bebo, dp, etc, but seems as though at the moment sonam is a hot choice. but gotta say, I'm super excited that the ladies are getting awesome roles now and have big fan followings! #lageraholadies 👍🏼

@darling: fck, i forgot kangana too 😡. gosh these more "popular" mainstream actresses are all thats on my mind smh. i really want kangana to get her due in bollywood. anyone know about her lineups?

Sonakshi surprised me more than any other actor in recent times! Its positively heartbreaking to see her do meaningless films...when she is clearly so talented, has an incredible screen presence and is beautiful in a very Indian way! Whole package!

I just wish she takes her career more seriously and chooses her films well!

I have never been a fan of Kangna's work, but when I see her off-screen, its impossible not to love this girl...she is the very anti-thesis of the typical bolly star and so politically incorrect!😆 Hearing good things about Queen and very much looking forward to watching it too! Hope this year proves good for her!

So one movie opposite Salman and Sonam is the next big thing? If she wants to be in the same league as Katrina and Deepika she's gotta do more than bagging roles opposite big stars.
