At the time Karisma was number 1. Juhi never reached that height and never got to do memorable roles while she was still hot and happening. I cannot remember her work after Yes Boss (1997) and she was my fav. In fact, Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke in 1993 is her only work which I love! She deserved much much more! It's only much later in her career she made a good comeback with good films like 3 Deewarein and My Brother Nikhil because she stopped being competitive!

Power talks. Every year during IPL auctions.. Juhi is the one who represents KKR. At least people perceive her as a powerful woman. But can we say the same about Karishma? Did Sanjay give Karishma as much power as Jai's giving to Juhi? & who cares about how much fame someone else enjoyed for a year or two in the 90s when your present is better than that other diva's?

& I thought Juhi's career as a top star ended because of her marriage.

Definitely Karishma is a bigger star than Juhi. Juhi was never the number#1 actress. In the 80s, Bollywood became Sridevi's. Madhuri ruled the 90s, Karishma became number#1 after Madhuri stopped doing movies. Juhi never could reach that level..

Hmm i was thinking of KKR too but ppl always associate it with SRK..I hardly see ppl relate Juhi to it though she is part of everything..Ppl associate Preity with Punjab and Shilpa with RR way more than Juhi with KKR but thats probably cos the other two are more on your face & its hard to ignore them during the matches😆 But yeah, she is a lot more powerful than Lolo at this point..Imagine what could have been if Karishma became the Bachchan bahu😆

So stardom comes from IPL? Then Preity Zinta is a much bigger star with stardom ..ain't it? 😆

Juhi was never a top star ..she never reached number#1 position as Rekha/Sri/Madz/Karishma..

Juhi probably wants a longer stardom as well and not just the power.

Nobody remembers Karisma.

For someone who was no. 1 of her time, she's totally lost. Even when you think of 90s actresses, you think of people like Madhuri, Juhi, Kajol. and so on.

Karisma gets no respect. Nobody offers her any movies either, not even the art movie types even though she's still fairly young looking and slim and in shape.

She's busy selling bags of atta. 😕

I could never watch Karishma movies. Karishma's movies were most often gaudy/ loud/ and crappy with some double meaning dance numbers to pull the crowd . B grade kind. Whereas Juhi was more fentertaining. Even today if I have to choose between watching a Karishma & a Juhi starrer. Juhi would be my choice.

For me Juhi is the bigger star. But for the masses perhaps Karishma is she and Govinda had their own audience.
