This topic happened solely because of the accolades Alia received for Highway. The TM begins by complaining about the hype and then stating that Alia's acting sucks, and the Highway performance sucks too. So this topic was very much about Highway and her acting in it. Just because the TM did not like the performance she seems to want to tack on everything about Alia to the topic.

Then again she can do whatever she wants. She doesn't give explanations.

well considering a lot of the ppl on the forum actually LIKED aalia in highway, it might be easier to revert back to her "annoying characteristics" like her personality, her offscreen image, her performance in SOTY etc to justify the dislike...and bring the topic back on "we dislike aalia" mode...

It sure is going to be fun this award season. While Sonakshi got ignored, Alia is going o get every nomination namely because yeah she might have been good but mostly because the film fraternity is so vocal about it.

Right from Geet to Jhilmil,Pakhi, Vidya bagchi, Shashi and now Veera. Even if I find the actors who have played the role annoying or don't agree with what they say..I cant help myself from agreeing to them or having a soft spot for them only because of the character. Maybe that's the magic of cinema.

But i agree with ur latter paragraph...i face tht kinda conflict especially with sridevi where her offscreen life disgusts me (wht she did to boney's first family)...but whenever i see her movies like Sadma, Lamhe, EV, chaalbaaz etc, shes so magical that i cant hate her...

Why are ppl getting already getting annoyed abt Alia sweeping awards and all without watching Highway? I love her and always knew she had it in her to deliver a brilliant performance.But I cant defend her acting based on Highway as I m yet to see it.Same must work for her detractors..You guys should giver her a chance,watch Highway and then decide whether she is deserving of the awards or accolades instead of attributing her success to nepotist industry and their ways.

Dont insult a kid becoz even kid have better Attitude then Alia atleast they Smile nd Laughed everytime
