He hasn't been offered the film yet.
But the sad part is, even if Kareena got to know of such a project, she would t be bothered about it. Instead if this were a Rohit Shetty film, she would have pulled all strings to get the film a producer.

Where are those people who think Kareena is over? She is the first choice for a lot of directors while other actresses have to wait around for rejects.

I don't know..yes Kareena is talented and versatile..but I don't see her in this type of role. I wonder why the director thinks she's perfect for the role. Anyways, am sure Bebo will say NO esp since it seems like a flop film.

I hope that the film gets a producer and Shyam offers this to Kareena AND she signs the film!!

Am I wishing for too much here?

Kareena is a powerhouse of talent. It'll be a shame to let her go. She has so much more to offer...Please let this work out. If a producer is found within the next 2-3 weeks, I can't see why Bebo will refuse this film since she only has Singham 2 - unless Shuddhi does take off with Ranveer (highly unlikely).

Kareena taking up a good script. The chances of that are lower than me debuting opposite Saif in an intense romantic drama.

Haha but desu... don't you think the sudden backlash and films getting shelved have scared her a little? Seeing a Deepika win awards must have made her blood boil. I'm thinking she might be on the look out to blow people away again, Jab We Met style. ;)

If this materialises, then she might agree to it as she has a Singham 2 on the commercial front.

Shyam Benegal's films are low budget and don't take long to shoot. This might just be the perfect filler!
