Why not Singham 2? Bebo had no hits last year..2 back to back flops..she desperately needs a hit. Singham 2 was Rohit's next film..so she took that up. If she waits for his next film..that would be what in a year..it would be too late by then..she needs a hit asap. And plus it seems like Rohit made her role longer than what the other actress had in the first Singham.

I have a feeling Kareena was finalized for Singham 2 recently even though Rohit says he did the film with Kareena in his mind..I don't buy that lol..Singham is Ajay's film. He did the film with Ajay in his mind.

I think Kareena called him after GTPM flopped.

First of all..i think its inappropriate to compare the likes of Tabu and Konkona to these commercial stars..The whole purpose fails there..

If getting more work and being popular was the only agenda then in that case no one was required to do the acting bit..Because no one is as popular as Kat at present..

@Bold-Agree with you on that..Masala flicks is the new trend..But Kareena is already an established actress..She does not need to do a hit masala movie to prove her worth I think..I would rather say if she does a performance oriented role and gets another best actress,,it will establish and strenthen her position more..😊

I think people are forgetting one important thing in lobbying. You lobby for a role that's already written and hope the director chooses you. Now what most actresses do. It's a known fact that even the young actresses, including deepika, have PR/management that actively pitches her name in to production houses when a role is being considered. Isnt that what we read a while ago?

But we have something new here.

Here the director admits that he wrote a film/role for an actress after she asked him to.

A first for an actress. Even in lobbying, Kareena sets new standards 😉
