i strongly think the critics overdo it when it comes to her...

Well there is Ranveer and if anyone can match Parineeti's energy and enthusiasm it is Ranveer. I thought their pairing was more fresh that Anushka-Ranveer one in LVRB.

What so glorious about performing same kinda caharcter again and again and winning aclaim? Then ppl shudnt cry hoarse tht SRK is overrated as he is not versatile and always stick to his comfort zone-ie typical YRF lover boys...same rule applies in Parineeti's case...If she is really deserving of all this appreciation,she shud go out of her comfort zone and experiment something like Lootera and portray the role successfully...all these bubbly roles seem like a cake walk for her which is good...but what about some versatility? Vidya Balan is someone who can be considered the flag bearer of women power in BW cuz she dared to attempt a BOLD TDP completely out of her comfort zone,outshone male counterparts and came out as a winner with both critics and audience

On topic,I was kinda expecting Sid to be sidelined so not surprised...First of all yes he is not that great or experienced as an actor so its hard to stand his own while playing a serious sober character and pitted again a very energetic flamboyant female lead...All I want is for the audience to connect to him as an actor...Dont care abt critics,but Sid shud prove to a viewer like me he has improved from SOTY days and delivered decent performance...He shud make ppl like Nikhil...Rest for the critics reviews,I wud wait for Villian to release...honestly action movies seems more his niche than typical romcoms.

and, I watched Ishaqzaade without any biased whatsoever..😆 and I genuinely liked Arjun's performance more. I didn't quite understand how Parineeti stole his thunder in that film because I didn't see anything crazy extraordinary from her side. As you said, I really couldn't figure out where the scene stealing acting chops were.

IMHO I liked Arjun more.. it was his first movie he was really impressive

i wouldnt attack her for the versatality yet...i mean shes young and these are the kind of films most young girls do if they wanna prove their "acting chops"...romcoms, bubbly girl , fiesty girl types roles...thts fine by me...i dunt mind that shes not too versatile coz its just the beginning of her career so she still has time to explore...

Not surprised!!! Sid sucked in SOTY! He's not a natural actor.
Now in Ishaqzaade both her and Arjun were equally good, don't think she stole the show in that one!

i can only hope aaliya "steals it" too in highway so we can see some nice takkar...😈..and i can wear my team aaliya shirt coz she seems much more impressive to me somehow going by the trailers...
