For those who are used to seeing Akshay Kumar on the big screen at regular intervals, it is turning out to be a case of withdrawal anxiety for his hardcore fans and followers. It is three months since the release of BOSS and for an actor who releases an average of four movies every year, it is pretty much about time that he is seen on the big screen.
However, with HOLIDAY moved further away from the month of May to June, the gap has only been widened as it would now be eight months after BOSS that Akshay would be appearing in a film.
In fact his fans on social networking also started a campaign that demanded for the First Look of HOLIDAY. When the trend started escalating, an overwhelmed Akshay posted - ''I really appreciate all your enthusiasm but as you know the film will release on June 6, it's too early to reveal the first look, so hang in there, it'll be out before you know it.'
In a way this piece of information came as a positive sign for many out there who were assured that between the clash of ACTION JACKSON and HOLIDAY, latter was most definitely sticking to its stand.
In fact when contacted, producer Vipul Shah too confirmed, 'Yes, there are no changes in plans for HOLIDAY. We are definitely arriving on 6th June.'
