Theek hai...ek movie of Salman did not perform as it should have,...hota hai...sometimes good movies do perform a little lower than usual...KICK is totally Salman kind of masala movie...it will make a 100 cr NET in 3 days...why do u need to give so many excuses? 😕

Salman took a little risk with Jai Ho...and it didn't pay off so well...Shouldn't you be applauding him for doing something different??

Sensible post.

One doesn't need to make excuses really. With a pathetic star cast, nobody would expect it to break the record of D3 and CE. Salman gambled, so it's all cool, no? This didn't work. Plus, Sohail Khan as a director, nobody would expect a classic.

You can't go on satisfying everybody. Let's see what happens on Monday. If Jai Ho turns out to be even a Hit, I'd consider it a success. The real failure for Salman was Dabbang 2 despite being a Blockbuster.

100 cr Nett in 3 days is done by CE/D3, with TICKET PRICE inflation only, there is no way possible that any biggie touch that figure without that.

Yeh, Jai Ho opened below expectation, who is denying? Just coz opening LOW hui hai doesn't mean u will term it as flop... a flop movie on 3rd day doesnt score 26+ CR??

Chennai Express / Dhoom 3 ki original DVD print 2nd day nahi aaya tha ONLINE, Jai Ho's print is online which is being promoted by Salman Haters everywhere, which is eating away lots of audience which would have seen it on Cinema Hall. Yes, pirated prints come for every movie but not DVD Print, this is crystal clear print with superb audio.

The way JAI HO faced opposition, WOM being extremely good, people loving the film, Now film showing upward trend of collection, still you guys terming it as failure 😆

Holiday or republic day, Do you believe it makes so much difference? If the movie opened to lukewarm response, where did the huge excitement come from on the third day?

Republic Day pe all want to enjoy na and as the trailer of he movie it seemed somehow patriotic, like people of the country are sad, one man fights evil type themes. It will excite people to watch Jai Ho on Republic Day.

Simple Maths.

Still people say non holiday. As if Republic Day won't fetch audience to watch movie.

Why are people making so much issue about the ticket price? If people want to watch it, they will pay whatever they want (D3); if they don't, they won't pay anything at all (Himmatwala).

Jai Ho is a failure or not. Salman is definitely a failure considering he's a superstar. He couldn't keep up to his Super Star status with Jai Ho.

Your theory applies on Agneepath, which released on WED - REPUBLIC DAY made 22 cr. Here it was SUNDAY. which was already holiday, so even if REPUBLIC DAY na bhi hota, film would have done same business.

People don't feel patriotic for just 1 day on Republic day, Jai Ho released 2 days back, they could have felt it then also.
