Good story but the end is very simple. The first part of the story was shown in Fashion. Samir Soni played the gay guy and Mugdha Godse played his wife. But they remained friends till the end without the entry of a second guy.

😊 I actually like your twist there, where the gay guy is already in love with the friend. It would entangle things so much and the end certainly wouldn't be simple. But bechara gay guy, it's bad enough that he's chosen a life of compromise. If he falls in love with a straight friend, who now loves his fake wife, bechara kaise jiyega! But it might also be karma coming back to bite him, since he actually did con the girl into marrying him.

Its a good story. Its reminds of Rabindrnath's Tagore story "Nastanirh" barring the homosexual subtext. You should read it. Satyajit Ray has even adapted it in a movie called "Charulata".

I can think of three tv shows that had similar story. There was Vaidehi which was produced by Aruna Irani but instead of gay the guy was impotent. As somebody said here, there was a similar track in the show Maryada. Recently one of the story in the show "Yeh hai aashiqui" on Bindaas had similar story where the husband was a gay and later the wife falls in love with other guy.
