Shahid Kapoor to go bald after Republic Day

For quite some time there have been speculations about Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor going bald for Vishal Bhardwaj's HAIDER. Well, now the actor is all geared up to let go off his hair.

Finally the actor has taken the decision. As Shahid, who is leaving for the second shoot schedule of HAIDER in Kashmir on 26th, will shed it all on 27th of January i.e. just after Republic Day.

While Shahid is all game for it, he is extremely nervous about it. When Shahid was described the look of his role and the change he will have to go through, since then the actor has been contemplating with the idea. Shahid takes time and effort for styling his hair has been discussing minute details with people around him.

"I am nervous about this. It was a tough decision to take," Shahid Kapoor says.

HAIDER is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet'.

Shahid Kapoor to finally go bald for Haider

For some time now, there have been reports about Shahid Kapoor going bald for Vishal Bhardwaj's next, Haider. Since then, those who know the actor have been wondering how he will take the step, since he loves his hair. Now, Shahid is finally ready to shave his head today (January 25), and it's giving him jitters.
A source close to the actor reveals, "Shahid is very particular about his hair. When the look for his character was described to him, he contemplated the idea. Finally, he's decided to go ahead with the look, and he will go bald today. It's been one of the most difficult decisions he's had to make."
Shahd is known to be particular about his hair, always putting time and effort into styling it well. Even though he will do whatever is required for the role, he's upset about having to go bald. Ask him about it and he admits, "I'm very nervous. It was a tough decision for me."

I wonder if it's true ... Then what was the point of growing all that beard? I doubt if they have shot in it yet.
