Sid offered cakes to go shirtless

We hear, for an important song sequence for Hasee Toh Phasee, Sidharth Malhotra had to appear shirtless. The young actor worked out and went on a special diet for about a week. However, on the day of the shoot, some delays were caused because of which the scene could not be shot then. Director Vinil Matthew had to shoot the scene much later and Sidharth had to undergo the week-long special workout and diet all over again for the sequence. After the shoot was completed, director Vinil Mathew got him lots of cake to make up for the strict diet that Sidharth had to undergo. Vinil when contacted says, "I felt guilty about making Sidharth work hard twice for one scene. So, after the shoot was completed, I got him lots of cake to make up for the strict diet regime that he had to follow."
