Vidya Balan and Irrfan in Sujoy Ghosh's thriller

Sujoy Ghosh, director of the much-acclaimed 'Kahaani', is ready with his next. The film will be an edgy thriller that has been written once again with his friend Suresh Nair.

Quite as expected, Mr Ghosh will be working with Ms Balan as they are each other's favourites. But what is both unusual and exciting is the casting of Irrfan with Vidya.

The film, yet to be titled, will be shot in Kolkata in the second half of 2014 and we have no doubt that two powerhouse performers with a kickass director will give us many thrills when it comes.

I wonder if this is the adaptation of 'The Devotion of Suspect X' that Sujoy Ghosh was supposed to make with Balaji:
