I think she recently said "I want to read scripts from now on" - almost too late in her career, but better late than never!

Bombay Samurai sounds promising. I think she signed it after GTPM debacle so may be there is something in it for her.

Not to mention the anti-Bebo phase on IF currently is prompting me to defend her.

That's how I became her fan in the first place. During the K3G era when everyone used to hate her guts, I decided to root for the underdog 😆

Now that I think about it, she probably did Jab We Met because it would be a nice holiday with boyfriend Shahid.😆 Thank god she didn't break up with him before that film. Or else she would have rejected that also and it might have fallen in some other heroine's lap.

Actually no, that film came to her during her worst career phase. Post 2005/2006 when she was sitting at home with no work. She sat at home for about 6-8 months without anything substantial coming her way. All her films were flopping and she decided to just retrospect and wait for that one film worth doing.

I'm not really sure about it considering she signed both JWM and Tashan around the same time. 😆 Still think she signed JWM only because it was Shahid. It was like a paid holiday with him for her.

No coz remember, it was mainly shot in India and she had just done like 3 other films with Shahid.

Tashan was her ticket back to the big league and on paper the film must have looked impressive.

I think what she meant by doing somethign worthwhile was NOT doing those whatever roles in Abbas Mustan films, like 36 Chinatown. There was this one phase when all she was doing was Priyandarshan and Abbas Mustan and very small roles in those films even
